Obama: Mitt Has ‘Extreme Positions’

The gauntlet has been thrown. President Obama said in an interview with the Associated Press on Saturday that he is concerned that Mitt Romney has locked himself into “extreme positions” and refuses to “own up” to the actual responsibilities of the president. He also warned that Romney’s use of dishonest arguments could become a problem in live debates. In addition to working to discredit his rival on the eve of the GOP convention, Obama admitted that the country isn’t “where we need it to be.”
