President Obama on Sunday traveled to Moore, Oklahoma, the town devastated by a deadly tornado that killed 24 and damaged an estimated 12,000 homes. The president got a firsthand look at the wreckage along with Gov. Mary Fallin, who thanked Obama for his support. "I'm just a messenger here today, letting everybody here know that you are not alone, that you've got folks behind you," the president said. Obama also met with forecasters from the National Weather Service's Severe Weather Forecast Center and encouraged Americans to donate to relief efforts.
