O.J. Simpson will be back in the courtroom—but don't get too excited for real justice. He will be in a Las Vegas court on Monday not because of the trial that made him infamous, but for a less-remembered charge from 2008 that resulted in a prison sentence for hotel-room robbery. He now claims that he had such bad representation that time around that the conviction for armed robbery and kidnapping should be overturned and a new trial ordered. Although such motions rarely succeed, this is O.J. we're talking about. As one law school professor said, "An O.J. case is never like any other case." You've got that right.
