It was a rainy day in Baltimore, but the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown, was still up and running. Oxbow won the race, the 138^th running of the stakes. For heavy pre-race favorite Orb, who won the Kentucky Derby two weeks ago under similarly damp conditions, the weather wasn’t deemed a concern. But Orb's disappointing loss dashes hopes of a Triple Crown winner for 2013. The last time the feat was accomplished was in 1978. Oxbow was the longest shot of the century to win the Preakness.
