Pacino Dodged Starr Ponzi Scheme

Just weeks before Kenneth Starr’s financial ruse collapsed, Al Pacino pulled out of the Ponzi scheme and avoided taking a loss. Starr, who is being held without bail, was allegedly running a $30 million fraud. But Pacino was increasingly suspicious. "I'm leaving with you or without you, so if you want to retain my business, you need to leave," he reportedly told his account manager. Barbara Walters is also said to have left the firm with her manager six months ago. "All the partners just started taking off,” a source told The New York Post.
