The founder of PaidContent.org, the company that covers digital media and “the economics of content,” is stepping down after eight years. Rafat Ali grew the original blog into three other sites—paidContent.uk, mocoNews, and contentSutra—before selling them all to Guardian News & Media in 2008. He’ll likely be succeeded by Ernie Sander, the managing editor of ContentNext, and his co-editor Staci Kramer.
