British police have released a man and a woman arrested in connection with drone flights that caused chaos and delays at Gatwick Airport last week—and they are no longer considered suspects, AFP reported. Sussex Police detective chief superintendent Jason Tingley said the couple, who live near the airport, “cooperated fully” after being detained on Saturday. “Our inquiry continues at a pace to locate those responsible for the drone incursions, and we continue to actively follow lines of investigation,” Tingley added. Dozens of drone sighting between Dec.19 and 21 ended up grounding flights for more than a day, affecting 140,000 passengers. Police said one damaged drone was found near the airfield.
