A debate on Piers Morgan Uncensored quickly erupted into a shouting match as panelists feuded over President Donald Trump’s attacks on Iran.
Ana Kasparian, a host of online talk show Young Turks, called former Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson Jonathan Conricus a “terrorist piece of c--p” after a discussion about U.S. troops took a heated turn.
Conricus had interjected in a tense exchange between Kasparian and retired Gen. Mark Kimmit, who had accused Kasparian of using fallen U.S. troops as a prop to argue against the war. She had pointed out that six servicemembers have already been killed since Trump launched a new conflict in the Middle East over the weekend. The president has said there will “likely be more.”

“Ana, please quit using the tropes on American soldiers. I’ve had to bury seven American soldiers,” said the former spokesperson for the George W. Bush administration, under which thousands of U.S. servicemembers died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“How is it a trope?!” Kasparian shot back. “How is it a trope to see American soldiers die on behalf of Israel’s wars? How is that a trope? Explain that to me.”

After Kimmit laughed and told her he wouldn’t “dignify that with a response,” Kasparian proceeded to read out comments made by Israeli journalist Niv Raskin earlier in the day.
“We need to emphasize this is an incident involving American forces and not, heaven forbid, an incident involving Israeli forces,” Raskin had said of the killing of American soldiers.
Kasparian then levelled her scathing insult at Conricus after the Israeli ex-official told her Raskin is “not a huge figure” and only “a talking head on a morning show.”
Morgan implored Kasparian to “please keep the ad-hominems down” as he pressed Kimmitt for a response to her question.
But Kimmitt declined to answer again, at which point Kasparian accused him of attempting to “smear” her.
“The general’s chosen not to respond,” Morgan said. “That’s his right.”
