Police in Portland, Oregon, declared a riot Friday night as protesters began damaging property downtown following the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse in a courthouse 2,000 miles away. KGW reports that windows were broken and at least one fire was set as about 200 people faced off with cops near the Justice Center—which has been the site of repeated protests. Police said the crowd threw urine, batteries, and bottles at officers—but no arrests were made.
