Two leaders of an all-boys Catholic school in Toronto have resigned as police investigate charges of gang sexual assault brought against six of their students. President Jefferson Thompson and Principal Greg Reeves are leaving St. Michael's College School. The pair said they want to allow the school to move forward without distractions. Toronto police arrested six male students earlier this week for alleged sexual assault of other male students, with at least four incidents allegedly being caught on tape. Charges of assault, gang sexual assault and sexual assault with a weapon were filed against each of the suspected students, according to the head of the Toronto sex crimes unit Inspector Dominic Sinopoli. Police learned about the assault last week and believe the incident happened this school year, according to CNN. Authorities are investigating other possible crimes.
