Former Rep. Ralph Hall, the oldest person in history to serve in the U.S. House, died on Thursday at his home in Rockwall, Texas, at the age of 95. Ed Valentine, his longtime political strategist, confirmed his death, The Washington Post reported. Hall served as a Texas state senator before he was elected to Congress in 1980, where he was re-elected 16 more times. He served as both a Democrat and a Republican.
