As frigid weather sets in around the Northern Hemisphere, The Daily Beast asked readers to submit their own photos of the chill.
Submit your own! Email your photo of the cold to dailybeastsubmit@gmail.com and see it on The Daily Beast! Include your name, location, and one sentence describing what’s going on in the picture.

And you thought you were cold. One Swedish reader reports, “I live in Uppsala, Sweden. It's been freezing since the 1st of December with an average temperature of -10. Now -5 feels like spring ;)”

"It's cold here in Parker, Pennsylvania!" this reader says.
But that river is not even fully frozen over—what are you complaining about?

If you ignore the hundreds of icicles, it doesn't even look that cold in this picture.

We get it. It's cold in Sweden.

This reader said, “We took this photo while driving north on highway 395, passing Mono Lake, which was shrouded in a mammoth fog bank. Lake Tahoe ski weekend!”

Talk about innovation. Some people are really making the most of their cold experience.

"Elko, Nevada. Temperature: 1," this reader sent.

That's not a ghost ship. This is the vibrant summer resort town.

L.A. didn’t get the memo. These readers submitted this photo, along with this caption: “Clearly it is not freezing everywhere! Tyler & Midori enjoying the morning sun poolside, just above the Sunset Strip in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA.”
