Leonid Radvinsky, the reclusive billionaire owner of OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 after a “long battle with cancer,” the company said in a statement. “His family have requested privacy at this difficult time,” the statement said. Radvinsky acquired a controlling stake in OnlyFans in 2018 and transformed the platform into a cultural phenomenon, enabling creators to monetize their content directly. He owned its parent company, Fenix International Ltd., and had reportedly been in early talks to sell a 60 percent stake for roughly $5.5 billion. OnlyFans was founded in 2016 by British entrepreneur Tim Stokely and exploded in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, when lockdowns pushed creators and audiences online, turning the subscription-based platform into a major source of global income and entertainment. Born in Odesa, Ukraine, Radvinsky moved with his family to Chicago as a child and later settled in Florida.
