Romney: I Will ‘Save the Future’

“We’re going to take your vote,” Mitt Romney told ebullient supporters Tuesday in Boston, swelled by his Super Tuesday successes, “and take that victory all the way to the White House.” He was introduced by his wife, Ann, who thanked state and national politicians for their support. Romney scooped up Virginia, Vermont, and Massachusetts early as results poured in Tuesday—but he had failed to capture the real prize, Ohio, by 10 p.m. ET. Romney positioned himself as a champion of the American people in the face of a feckless White House, saying, “You have not failed. You have a president that has failed you. And that’s going to change.”
