Roseanne Barr called Donald Trump the “only hope” for America at a fundraiser for Kari Lake hosted at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home Wednesday night, the Daily Mail reports. Billed as a “special guest comedian” who would “inspire” with patriotism at the event, Barr, who has found a place in MAGA world after her ABC show was canceled in the wake of her making a racist joke, attempted a series of jokes about adult diapers and female soldiers menstruating before declaring her “love” for Trump. “He’s the only hope we have in our country,” she said, adding that “every day it’s a little more scary.” She went on to praise Trump ally Lake, who’s vying for the Senate seat to be vacated by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, as a “wonderful woman of God” and a “wonderful Christian woman.” Organizers of the event, where ticket prices reached $100,000 per couple, say it raised $1 million for Lake’s campaign.
