The man accused of Monday’s suspected terrorist attack at Britain’s Parliament has been named as U.K. citizen Salih Khater. Khater is accused of smashing a car into a security barrier outside the Palace of Westminster, leaving three cyclists and pedestrians with minor injuries. Little is known about him, but the BBC reports the 29-year-old is originally from Sudan and police have been searching three addresses in the cities of Birmingham and Nottingham. The suspect is not believed to have been known to British intelligence officials, but was reportedly known to local police. Khater did not co-operate with police after his arrest. All those injured in the attack have since been discharged from hospital.
