A San Diego police officer was shot in the line of duty Saturday night. It's believed he was shot by a suspect from an earlier shooting. The officer reportedly pulled alongside a black Audi, and a person in the car pulled out a shotgun and shot the officer in the head. The police officer has been hospitalized and is in critical condition. Officers tracked down the suspect's vehicle 30 minutes later and a gunfight broke out at an apartment. One suspect was killed while a second was being sought. This is the second shooting of a police officer in San Diego in 10 months.
