Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin tweeted on Friday that her “family is intact” but her “house is not” following a 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck near Anchorage. “I imagine that’s the case for many, many others,” she added. “So thankful to be safe; praying for our state following the earthquake.” There have been widespread reports of damage to buildings but no major reports of injuries. An initial Tsunami warning has been canceled.

My parent’s home in Wasilla is usually in tip top shape. Here it is this morning following the earthquake. The video doesn’t begin to show the scope.
