A secret source aided investigators probing a plot by supporters of Donald Trump in their alleged efforts to tamper with voting machine tabulators after the 2020 election, MLive reported. The source met with prosecutors and provided evidence on the efforts of the five suspects. The information was given “for the purposes of plea discussions, consideration of immunity, and in offer of compromise,” according to a court filing in Oakland County.
