U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg announced on Twitter that he has tested positive for COVID-19. According to his tweet, he is “experiencing mild symptoms,” and plans to work remotely during his isolation period. The secretary said that he is “looking forward” to his return to in-person activities.
I have tested positive for COVID-19 and am experiencing mild symptoms. I plan to work remotely while isolating according to CDC guidelines, and look forward to when I can safely return to the office and the road.
