Autopsy: Serial Killer’s Cellmate Was Strangled

A convicted child molester who was found dead in the cell he shared with a serial killer was strangled, an autopsy has found. Juan Pablo Villanueva was serving a life sentence for the sex crime when he was killed Feb. 24 at North Kern State Prison in California, according to KGET. His cellmate, Ramon Escobar, was doing life without parole, for killing his aunt and uncle and then bludgeoning to death five transient people. It’s not clear if Escobar will be charged.
