A smash-and-grab gang wielding pepper spray swarmed a Bottega Veneta store in Los Angeles on Friday, stealing an unknown quality of merchandise, CBS Los Angeles reported. The brazen theft followed group pillaging of three Nordstrom outlets in the last several days. Meanwhile, the L.A. Sheriff’s Department says eight men rushed into a Home Depot in Lakewood and fled with tools including hammers and crowbars that police fear could be used in other crimes.
