Smuggler Abandons 10 Migrants Kids in 115-Degree Heat

Texas authorities say a smuggler left 10 children from Honduras at the border on a day when temperatures exceeded 115 degrees. A Department of Public Safety team found the children at the edge of the Rio Grande in the city of Eagle Pass, the San Antonio Express-News reports. The agency did not say whether any of the children were injured but posted footage of them resting in the shade on social media.
