Snoop Dogg says he is “still 100 percent Black” after he was trolled for performing at an event celebrating Donald Trump’s inauguration. Speaking on a video posted on his Instagram the rapper said “it’s Sunday, I got gospel in my heart right now” while singing and smoking. “For all the hate, I’m going to answer with love,” he continued. The rapper was criticized by his fans for performing at the Crypto Ball on Jan. 17 in Washington D.C., where tickets sold for $2,500. He’s expressed a mix of views about Trump in the past, asking “how could we have someone as reckless as him running our country?” back in 2016 , but later said he loved the president in a 2024 Times of London interview. His followers seem unimpressed by his response. One posted an animated gif of rapper Tupac Shakur looking unimpressed. “Lost all respect,” wrote mkaplan801. “Sell out,” added subhamdaz_.
