South Beach Wine & Food Festival Wraps Up Another Successful Year

The Miami and Fort Lauderdale event attracts a who’s who of celebrity chefs and foodies from around the country.

This winter a who’s who of celebrity chefs and foodies from around the country gathered in Miami and Fort Lauderdale for the 17th annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF).

The festival was made up of more than 95 different events curated by SOBEWFF founder and director Lee Brian Schrager, which attracted an estimated 60,000 attendees. And the best part is that it’s all for charity. SOBEWFF raised roughly $2 million for its charity partner the Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Florida International University.

“In addition to having raised more than $28 million to date for the School, the Festival offers hands-on, real-world experiences for the next generation of leaders in the hospitality industry,” said Schrager.
