Sportscaster Warner Wolf was caught on video removing the word “Plantation” from a sign at a housing development in Naples, Florida, police said. The 81-year-old retired anchor—best known for his catchphrase “Let’s go to the videotape!”—turned himself into police last week on a charge of felony criminal mischief and was released on $5,000 bond. Ken Heff, manager of the Classics Plantation Estates, told the Naples Daily News that Wolf has a longstanding objection to the name of the development. “He had his opinions about how it was a racist word and he didn’t feel that it should be in the name of community, although plenty of communities throughout Florida use that name,” Heff said.
