Stacey Abrams, who ran for Georgia governor in the 2018 elections, announced on Twitter Monday that she was considering a presidential run in 2020. “20 years ago, I never thought I’d be ready to run for POTUS before 2028. But life comes at you fast...” she wrote. “Now 2020 is definitely on the table...” Abrams lost the election by a close margin to now-Gov. Brian Kemp, reportedly getting 48.8 percent of the vote. After her gubernatorial run, Abrams also spoke to the nation in the Democratic Party's response to President Trump's State of the Union address earlier this year.
