A youth soccer team made up of 12 boys aged between 11 and 15 is believed to have been trapped inside a cave in Thailand for two days after heavy rainfall flooded their only way out. Multiple attempts to locate the kids and their 25-year-old coach have failed, but officials believe they’re still alive after discovering fresh foot and hand prints inside the cave complex. “We are still searching right now,” said Chote Narin, an officer at Mae Sai district police station, adding: “We’ve found traces but no people yet.” The team is believed to be in a chamber about four kilometers from the entrance of the cave, which is thought to be about six to eight kilometers long. Thai television showed bicycles, backpacks, and soccer boots assumed to belong to the boys left at the entrance of the cave.
