A tornado tore through the Michigan town of Gaylord on Friday, killing one, injuring about four dozen, leaving buildings in tatters. “All I have to say is the town is a mess,” Gaylord resident Amy Neuvirth told The Detroit News. “Businesses destroyed, cars flipped over, trees are down on several streets. Just devastating,” she said. The storm left 25,000 people in the area without power, and the Otsego hospital in Gaylord was running on generator power.
