President Donald Trump shared an outlandish AI-generated video on social that shows a deranged future vision for Gaza that includes the Palestinian enclave playing home to a gold statue in his honor.
The footage, which Trump posted late Tuesday to Instagram and Truth Social without comment, reimagines the devastated territory as a Middle East Riviera with a luxury Trump hotel, Emirati-like skyscrapers, beach resorts and bearded belly dancers.
A figure who looks suspiciously like Elon Musk appears four times, twice eating a dip and twice showering locals with what appears to be American cash.

The video is set to an up-tempo dance track featuring personality cult-infused lyrics: “Donald Trump will set you free, bringing the light for all to see, no more tunnels, no more fear, Trump Gaza is finally here. Trump Gaza shining bright, golden future, a brand new light.”
At one point, Trump is shown waltzing with a bellydancer in a nightclub, while multiple scenes show gold colored Trump merchandise in his honor.
A child carries a helium-inflated golden balloon shaped like Trump’s head, and a “Trump Gaza” shop offers golden idols of the president.
Perhaps most brazen of all, the video shows two men who appear to be Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu enjoying poolside drinks at a luxury resort.
Following the October 7 Hamas attacks that killed over 1,100 people, Netanyahu ordered a sustained siege on Gaza in which nearly 50,000 Palestinians were killed, including thousands of women and children, according to recent estimates.
Nearly two thirds of the structures in Gaza were destroyed by a relentless Israeli bombing campaign which included the use of U.S.-made bombs.
The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu, former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif for war crimes related to their roles in the conflict.
Trump has, in recent weeks, floated the idea of the United States taking over the war-torn Palestinian territory and ejecting the local Arab population, which experts have said would amount to ethnic cleansing.
The real estate developer turned politician—whose Trump Organization is involved in projects in the region—has said he would remake the enclave as a “Riviera of the Middle East.”
Netanyahu said last week that he is “committed” to Trump’s plan, while Arab leaders and several Western allies have strongly condemned his proposal.
Israel and Hamas are currently in the first phase of a ceasefire deal and are negotiating the terms of a more lasting agreement.
