The California Highway Patrol has released the names of two adults involved in a fatal crash off the Mendocino Coast that killed them and three children, according to The Press Democrat. Jennifer Jean Hart of West Linn, Oregon and Sarah Margaret Hart of Alexandria, Minnesota, both 39-years old, were riding in a GMC Yukon with two boys and a girl. The car went off a cliff near Juan Creek on Monday, landing upside down on a large rock. The two women were seat belted in the car, while the three children were “thrown out as it tumbled down the hillside toward the ocean,” according to the newspaper. Authorities are still working to identify the children. The CHP is reportedly investigating what caused the car to go off the cliff.
