Two U.S. Troops Killed by Roadside Bomb in Afghanistan

A roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan killed two U.S. service members and injured two others, the U.S. military said in a statement on Saturday, and the Taliban has taken responsibility for the attack. The killed and injured troops have not yet been publicly identified. Qari Yusouf Ahmadi, a Taliban spokesman, said the bomb was detonated in the southern Kandahar province. At least 2,400 American service members have been killed in Afghanistan.
