All the protests couldn’t stop it: Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has signed the controversial bill stripping public workers of their collective-bargaining rights. Walker heralded the move as a job-saving measure and directed state agencies to rescind 1,500 layoff notices it issued while the legislature was stalled. Meanwhile, it is unclear when Senate Democrats will turn to the legislature or if they’ve returned yet to Wisconsin.
