Sixty-four-year-old swimmer Diana Nyad jumps into the water at the Ernest Hemingway Nautical Club to start her three-day, non-stop journey from Havana to Florida. After swimming for close to 80 hours, Nyad completed the swim on her fourth attempt in three years. The day after her successful swim, Nyad announced that she was "through with the ocean" and would no longer be swimming long distances in seawater.
