A blowup over grapes is now at the center of a high-profile media divorce. Court filings in the split between former CBS anchor Josh Elliott and ABC “Eyewitness News” anchor Liz Cho detail a volatile argument in which Cho allegedly “lash[ed] out” as Elliott prepared his daughter’s lunch, “exclaiming that the grapes were hers and he was not permitted to put them in the child’s lunch,” according to documents obtained by Page Six. The exchange took place “within earshot of the child.” The filings, submitted by Elliott’s attorney, outline broader allegations of turmoil inside the home. Elliott, 54, accused Cho, 55, of “locking doors and shutting off lights on [his] teenage daughter in the evening when it was 14 degrees outside.” He also alleged Cho “monitor[ed] and listen[ed] to [his] private phone calls,” “rifl[ed] through [his] personal belongings and closet” and “engag[ed] in a consistent pattern of false accusations and manufactured crisis.” Elliott further claimed Cho left their home “for extended periods without communication” despite two dogs requiring daily care. The couple married in 2015 and filed for divorce last year. Reps for both parties have been contacted for comment.
