The nominees are in for this year’s Writer’s Guild Awards: HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and AMC’s Breaking Bad received three nods in the drama-series category, while ABC’s Modern Family received the most nominations for best comedy series. Game of Thrones, 30 Rock, and The Office followed with two nominations each. Showtime’s new Homeland was the only rookie to receive a best-drama mention. The only broadcast show to make the list was CBS’s The Good Wife.
