Pro wrestling star Roman Reigns, who relinquished the WWE Universal Championship in October to focus on his battle with leukemia, received a rousing and emotional ovation Monday night as he announced his cancer was in remission. Reigns said he’s not ready to return to the ring yet, but did in fact play a cameo role in a later fight. The potential return of Reigns is good news for the WWE, which has seen viewership slump following the Big Dog’s departure, with the star’s absence cited as a key reason for the dramatic decline in WWE’s female viewership.
