Perhaps Barr’s ignorance about the role of the prosecutor helps explain his ineptitude, but that hardly excuses it.

His appointment is a step in the right direction. It doesn’t ordain an outcome but guarantees a level of integrity to the process.
Taxing the rich at a high rate, say the authors of Elizabeth Warren’s tax plan, is only fair.
