10 Calif. Deputies Suspended

John McMahon, sheriff of San Bernardino County, Calif., has suspended the 10 deputies involved in a savage beating of a man that was captured on video by a hovering news helicopter on Thursday, the Washington Post reported. Francis Pusok was kicked and punched by the deputies as he lay face down in the desert, the video shows, after he led the deputies on a chase through the desert on horesback. The FBI also has launched an invesitgation to see if Pusok's civil rights were violated.
