10 Haitians Die From Boat Capsize

At least ten Haitians died, and around 100 other people were stranded near the Bahamas on Tuesday after an overcrowded 40-foot boat capsized after it ran aground, says the Coast Guard. Rescue craft and a helicopter have been deployed to lift people out of the water, and life rafts and food have been dropped for those still clinging to the hull of the boat. Many people from countries in the Caribbean will make their way through the Bahamas trying to reach the U.S.
