10-Year-Old Girl Shot in Head in L.A.

A 10-year-old girl was shot in the head in Los Angeles on Friday in what appears to have been a gang shooting. The girl, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, was walking to the store with her sister when she was struck in the back of the head in the Boyle Heights neighborhood. She was rushed to the hospital where she was last reported to be undergoing surgery. Police say the intended target was likely a man who was riding his bicycle nearby. Two vehicles were seen fleeing immediately after the incident.
