11 Wesleyan Students OD on Molly

At least 11 students were sickened by overdosing on party drug MDMA, also known as Molly, at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, according to police and school officials. At least two of the hospitalized students are in critical condition and had to be flown to Hartford Hospital. Police are investigating whether the students were exposed to a “bad batch” of the synthetic drug. A Wesleyan spokeswoman confirmed to the Hartford Courant that four students went to the hospital on their own while seven more had to be taken. They all shared “overdose symptoms consistent with the use of the drug Molly (MDMA),” she said.
