Japanese video game developer Sega admitted Sunday that the information of some 1.3 million customers has been stolen from its database. Email addresses and encrypted passwords of Sega Pass online network members were among the data breached. Credit card numbers, however, were safe. Sega Pass had been shut down. LulzSec, a group of hackers that has recently wreaked havoc with cyber attacks, has unexpectedly offered to track down and punish the hackers who broke into Sega.
