A U.S. drone bombed a wedding-bound convoy in Yemen today, killing 15 civilians and injuring five others, according to Yemeni officials. The bomb “missed its target,” an official said. Al Qaeda’s presence in Yemen has led the U.S. to increase its campaign of targeted air strikes, though Washington doesn’t comment on the practice. Just four days earlier, a U.S. drone killed three people in eastern Yemen.
