WINTER MESS

One man is dead.

A French Alps snow storm has left 15,000 cars stranded and trapped thousands of tourists in their vehicles. The popular European ski region is in chaos following a long-awaited snow storm. Emergency workers have had to establish makeshift shelters for thousands. Already, a 27-year-old man was killed Saturday when his car skidded off the road and fell 200 meters.
