2 Amtrak Train Incidents Kill 3 People

Two separate Amtrak train incidents killed a total of three people on Sunday. Two unidentified people died in what police deemed a likely suicide when they were struck by a Seattle-bound Amtrak train in Oregon. And then later in the afternoon, a North Carolina woman was killed while crossing the tracks about 30 miles southeast of Raleigh. She had just finished setting up a sendoff party for a relative who joined the U.S. Navy.
