According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, a 41-year-old woman was shot and killed Monday morning while visiting a patient at a Tampa-area hospital. The gunman then shot and killed himself in an apparent murder-suicide. Authorities initially treated the victim, Alonna Tedesco, but she later died from her wounds. Officials have yet to identity the gunman, only saying he was not a patient or a hospital employee.
