Three former Vatican officials and two journalists will face trial next week for formal charges in connection with leaking and sharing documents about the church's finances. Journalists Gianluigi Nuzzi and Emiliano Fittipaldi were among those charged because they wrote books based on the documents. Also charged are Mgr Lucio Vallejo Balda, his secretary Nicola Maio, and financial expert Francesca Chaouqui.
