A Tampa police officer, 53-year-old Jose Rodriguez, was wounded in a shooting that left two others dead on Saturday. Someone called 911 after seeing two cars driving erratically around a gas station. Two men were exchanging gunfire when Rodriguez followed the cars to a local Hyatt. The two unnamed men died in the altercation and Rodriguez was hit in the chest by a gunshot. He is expected to survive.
