Looks like MTV's two leading ladies will have to "beat up the beat" elsewhere. Two New Jersey towns have turned down Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jennifer "JWoww" Farley's request to film their eponymous spinoff onsite, even though they had requested to live outside of the towns. The Point Pleasant Beach Council voted unanimously against 495 Productions' taping request. William Mayer, a member of that council, told the Asbury Park Press, "It's not what we need at this point." Toms River has also turned down the series, while former "Jersey Shore" home, Seaside Heights, has said the show would be welcome to return.
